HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -- Christian Ynastrilla (10-4) won his fourth straight fight on Friday night with a third round submission over Mefi Monterroso (6-4) at Action Fight League.

Ynastrilla secured back control through the majority of all three rounds, leading to the eventual rear naked choke.

The 26-year-old has the chance to garner attention from major organizations and expressed an interest in fighting for ONE Championship.

Ynastrilla's win streak comes after a rough spell when he lost three straight fights. Ynastrilla said "at that time my gym shut down, I lost my job, I had nowhere to train."

Ynastrilla recognizes the journey it took to get to his win streak, he said "I've taken the long road, I have 14 fights, I've fought tough competition."

Through those fights, Ynastrilla feels he has proved he belongs at the top. "I really wanna go to ONE Championship, I know they're coming to America in May, I would love to be on that card." Ynastrilla said.

If Ynastrilla does not get the call, he said he is ready to keep proving himself. Ynastrilla said "If I have to win more I'll fight again next month, that's just the kind of person that I am."
