HOLLYWOOD, Fla. --- Daniel Wyatt (4-0) defeated Christopher Figueroa (0-2) via submission last Friday at Action Fight League.

Wyatt was in control for the whole fight before submitting Figueroa with a Von Flue choke two minutes into the first round.

Wyatt has finished all four of his professional fights under three minutes. Wyatt's streak of dominance proves he is ready for the next level in competition.

Wyatt's win came at lightweight, but Wyatt has fought at featherweight for the majority of his career.

Wyatt recognizes his desire for a belt and wants to fight for one soon. The 28-year-old said "I think there's a few shows in March and April that have my name on it."

Wyatt, who fought with a popped rib was happy to finish the fight quickly, saying that he could feel the discomfort of the rib after the fight.

Despite injury, Wyatt continues to dominate in a sport that rewards domination. It is time for Wyatt to get a shot that reflects the streak he has been on.
