Premier Fight League set for June 25

HIALEAH, FL -- Premier Fight League is set to return for its second show in 2022. So far, three bouts have been announced, all of them being title shots.


Jacob Diaz (4-1) is taking on Carlos Montes (1-0) for the lightweight title. Diaz, the former 305fights welterweight champion is coming off his first career loss against Mihai Culai. Diaz challenged Culai for Cobra FC's lightweight belt in April.


Montes successfully debuted against Azeyah Boyd with Premier Fight League in November of 2021.


Fontrell Clarke (3-0) is squaring up with Cristobal Ibáñez (1-1). This will be both fighters first title shot as amateurs. Clarke is coming off a unanimous decision victory against Donald Martin at XFN 43. Ibáñez has not fought since September 2021, where he beat Malcow Casas via round two KO/TKO.


Finally Isaac Padilla (2-1) is fighting Gustavo Mena (1-1) for Premier Fight League's featherweight belt.


The card is set to take place at MMA Masters on June 25. Tickets can be found through their Instagram.
